Eli has a pen-pal who lives in Minnesota.  He always includes some illustrations with his letter.

A magnetic nativity we got from my mom.  Each day we add a new piece after reading a story from a book about about a bear on his way to Bethlehem.  I let the boys put the pieces wherever they like, which explains why the drummer boy is in the stable.  Perhaps he is the entertainment until baby Jesus arrives.
